Wythenshawe is the regional centre for complex peripheral nerve and brachial plexus injury for Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
The form linked below can be used by clinicians outside MFT to send us a referral for patients with major nerve injury. MFT clinicians should refer using Hive.

Patients with open nerve injuries often have concomitant vascular injuries. If you suspect a vascular injury, please speak to your local vascular surgery team, or call the plastic surgery registrar on call at Wythenshawe Hospital on 0161 998 7070.
Your referral will be triaged within 1 working day. Patients with closed injuries will be seen as an outpatient at Wythenshawe within 4 weeks of injury. We will liaise with the referring team regarding patients with open injuries.
